SHINEOLOGYHOME CLEANING

One-time or first visit

Everything a regular clean skips.

Baseboards, door frames, light switches, vent covers, behind the appliances that move. A deep clean takes roughly twice as long as a standard visit and resets the house so a recurring schedule can hold it there.

What’s on the checklist

  • Everything in a recurring clean, plus:
  • Baseboards, door frames and trim wiped
  • Light switches, outlets, vent covers
  • Behind and under moveable furniture and appliances
  • Cabinet fronts and handles degreased
  • Tile grout scrubbed in bathrooms
  • Interior window sills and tracks

Good for

  • First visit before a recurring schedule
  • Spring or fall reset
  • After renovations or a long stretch without cleaning

How it’s priced

Deep cleaning is a standard clean plus $65 and roughly 1.5 extra hours. Use the calculator for your home’s base price, then add it on the booking page.

All questions
How much does a house cleaning cost in Ottawa?

Our recurring cleans start at $119 per visit for a one-bedroom and go up with bedrooms, bathrooms and square footage. A one-time clean of the same home is $149. Use the calculator on the homepage — it shows your exact price before you give us any contact details.

Is the price on the calculator the price I'll pay?

Yes, plus HST. The only time it changes is if the home is materially different from what was entered — say, four bathrooms instead of two — and we'll call before starting, not after.

Why is a one-time clean more than a recurring visit?

A home that's cleaned every two weeks takes less time than one that hasn't been done in months. The recurring discount reflects that, and it's also how we can promise you the same cleaner each visit.

Do I tip?

Never expected. If you want to, you can add it at checkout or hand it to your cleaner directly — 100% of it goes to them.

Do I have to be home?

No. Most of our clients aren't. Leave a key, a lockbox code, or let a concierge know — tell us in the booking notes and it'll be in your cleaner's instructions.
