Pricing

How much does a house cleaning cost in Ottawa?

Our recurring cleans start at $119 per visit for a one-bedroom and go up with bedrooms, bathrooms and square footage. A one-time clean of the same home is $149. Use the calculator on the homepage — it shows your exact price before you give us any contact details.

Is the price on the calculator the price I'll pay?

Yes, plus HST. The only time it changes is if the home is materially different from what was entered — say, four bathrooms instead of two — and we'll call before starting, not after.

Why is a one-time clean more than a recurring visit?

A home that's cleaned every two weeks takes less time than one that hasn't been done in months. The recurring discount reflects that, and it's also how we can promise you the same cleaner each visit.

Do I tip?

Never expected. If you want to, you can add it at checkout or hand it to your cleaner directly — 100% of it goes to them.

Booking

How fast can you come?

Usually within two to three business days, often sooner. Same-week is normal; same-day happens when a slot opens up. Pick a date on the booking page and you'll see what's actually available.

Can I reschedule or cancel?

Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment, from the link in your confirmation email. Less than 24 hours' notice is a 50% fee; same-day cancellation or a locked door is the full amount, because your cleaner has already given up that time.

Do you clean on weekends?

Saturdays, yes. Sundays we rest, and so does the team.

How do I pay?

Card on file, charged after the clean is done — never before. You'll get a receipt by email with the itemized total.

The visit

Do I have to be home?

No. Most of our clients aren't. Leave a key, a lockbox code, or let a concierge know — tell us in the booking notes and it'll be in your cleaner's instructions.

Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?

Everything, including the vacuum. If you'd rather we use something specific of yours — a particular floor cleaner, say — leave it out and tell us.

Will it be the same cleaner every time?

On a recurring schedule, yes. That's the point. If they're sick or away, we'll tell you who's coming instead and they'll have your home's notes.

What should I do before you arrive?

Honestly, not much. Pick up clothes and clutter from floors and surfaces so we're cleaning, not tidying. Secure pets who'd rather not meet a vacuum. That's it.

What isn't included?

Walls and ceilings, exterior windows, anything requiring a ladder above a step-stool, biohazards, and pest situations. Inside oven, fridge and cabinets are extras you can add at booking.

Trust

Are your cleaners background-checked and insured?

Every cleaner has passed a police record check and we carry liability insurance that covers your home while we're in it. Ask and we'll send you the certificate.

What if I'm not happy with the clean?

Tell us within 24 hours and we'll come back and re-do the areas that missed, free. No form, no argument. If we can't make it right, we'll talk about a credit.

What if something gets broken?

Tell us within 24 hours with a photo. Accidents are rare, but when they happen we repair or replace. Pre-existing damage and normal wear aren't covered, which is why your cleaner notes anything they see on the first visit.
